Before joining SenSArt in September 2021, she obtained a Ph.D. in History at the Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa (2013) and a Specialization in Cultural Sciences at the Scuola Internazionale di Alti Studi «Scienze della cultura» of the Fondazione Collegio San Carlo in Modena (2014). She was subsequently a DAAD scholarship holder at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and at the Monumenta Germaniae Historica (2013-2014) and a Postdoctoral Fellow of the Research Foundation – Flanders at Ghent University (2014-2021). She has carried out research stays at the École Nationale des Chartes (2010-2011) and at the Centre for Medieval Literature (Odense, 2016). Her previous research focused on letter-writing, written culture, monastic education, and religious and intellectual mobility.
